Privacy Policy for Iron Strong Health Initiative

Iron Strong Health Initiative, Inc. (“we,” “our,” “us”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving community health and raising awareness about preventable conditions such as anemia. This Privacy Policy explains how our ISHI mobile application (“the App”) and website handle information.

1. Information We Collect
The ISHI App allows users to capture an image of their lower eyelid to receive an anemia risk indication.

• Image data: Captured images are processed securely via our server at https://ishi-api.onrender.com. 
  • Images are transmitted using HTTPS. 
  • They are not stored after the AI prediction is generated. 
• App usage data: We collect minimal anonymous logs (e.g., timestamps, request success/failure) to maintain server performance.
• We do not collect names, emails, or any personally identifiable information (PII) from users.
   

2. How We Use the Information
We use image and log data solely to:

• Generate an AI-based anemia risk indication.
• Improve model accuracy and reliability (in aggregated, anonymized form).
• Monitor system uptime and detect misuse.
  We do not sell, share, or rent any user information to third parties.
   

3. Data Retention

• Uploaded images are deleted immediately after analysis.
• Logs without identifiers may be stored for up to 30 days for technical reliability.
   

4. Data Security
All communication between the App and our servers uses industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS). We maintain secure cloud environments and regularly review access permissions.
 

5. Your Privacy Choices

• You may choose not to use the image capture feature.
• If you contact us directly (e.g., email), we only retain your message long enough to respond.
• To request deletion of any personal data (if collected), contact us below.
   

6. Third-Party Services
ISHI does not use third-party advertising SDKs or analytics trackers. We may use Google Firebase solely for anonymous performance monitoring in future versions (with no user PII).
 

7. Medical Disclaimer
The ISHI App provides informational, non-diagnostic results. It is not a medical device and should not be used to make health decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
